I started The Mining Coach because of my love for the people in the Mining Industry. I love seeing how people learn, grow and become the best versions of themselves. I have been privileged to be amongst world class teams with world class success. I have also had the privilege of great leaders that taught me so much. After a lifetime being at mine sites, it is time for a new challenge where I want to add value in a different way through a unique consulting experience.
Who is
Christo Horn?
Christo is a registered professional mining engineer (ECSA) with a Masters in Business Leadership and more than 25 years of mine site operational experience. He has held positions as COO, Vice President and General Manager for more than 12 years which include being at Corporate level leading Long Term and Strategic mine planning for a large mining company. He has worked across various commodities including Gold, Platinum, Zinc/Lead/Silver in African countries with exposure to mine sites in Australia, Canada and South America.
